Publication Policy Agreement

When submitting their manuscripts for publication in the Journal of Regional Studies Review (JRSR), authors must abide by the following agreements

Submission's Exclusiveness: Authors submitting manuscripts to the "Journal of Regional Studies Review" (JRSR) affirm the exclusivity of their submission. By initiating the submission process, authors acknowledge that the manuscript is an original work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. The JRSR values the unique contributions of each submission and expects authors to uphold the principle of exclusivity throughout the review process. This exclusivity ensures that the journal maintains the integrity of its content and provides readers with novel, unreleased scholarly insights. Authors are obligated to inform the editorial team promptly if the manuscript is accepted for publication elsewhere during the review process. Adherence to the exclusivity of submission enhances the credibility of the journal and contributes to the dissemination of fresh, groundbreaking research within the field of regional studies.

Editing Rights: Authors submitting manuscripts to the "Journal of Regional Studies Review" (JRSR) agree to grant the journal editorial team the right to make necessary editorial modifications to enhance clarity, conformity with journal style, and adherence to publication standards. While the substantive content and key arguments of the manuscript will be preserved, the journal reserves the right to make minor adjustments, corrections, or formatting changes. Authors may be consulted for major alterations, and their cooperation in responding to editorial queries is crucial for expediting the publication process. The aim of exercising editing rights is to ensure the highest quality and coherence of published content. Authors acknowledge that final decisions regarding edits and modifications rest with the editorial team, and they commit to collaborating in good faith to facilitate the effective communication of their research findings.

Ownership of Writings and The Intellectual Property Rights:  Authors submitting manuscripts to the "Journal of Regional Studies Review" (JRSR) retain ownership of their original writings while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, and distribute the accepted work. This license ensures that the journal can disseminate the scholarly contributions effectively while respecting the intellectual property rights of the authors. Authors understand that this licensing agreement allows the JRSR to archive and showcase their work, promoting academic exchange.

Furthermore, the authors acknowledge that the JRSR utilizes a Creative Commons license to govern how their work is shared and reused. Consent of Authors:  By submitting a manuscript to the "Journal of Regional Studies Review" (JRSR), all authors involved in the research work provide explicit consent to the publication policies outlined herein. Authors affirm that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the ethical guidelines, editorial procedures, and standards set forth by the JRSR. This includes a commitment to the originality of their work, ethical conduct in research, and compliance with the journal's peer-review and editorial processes.

A conflict of interest exists when financial, personal, or professional affiliations could unduly influence the authors' objectivity or the perception of their work.

Authors are responsible for transparently declaring any relevant conflicts of interest in the manuscript or accompanying documentation during the submission process. Similarly, reviewers and editors involved in the evaluation process must promptly disclose any potential conflicts that could compromise impartial judgment.

Regarding this submission to JRSR, I have no potential/ latent/ covert conflict of interest.

I agree to all of the terms and conditions of the JRSR Publishing Policy Agreement mentioned above and accept that JRSR's decision is final and that I will have no objections.
